Updates that matter to San Francisco rental housing providers. Insights with impact.

You are cordially invited to an event that discusses myriad regulatory changes for landlords and real estate practitioners in San Francisco.

The city's newly minted Community Opportunity to Purchase Act adds several new layers of complexity to sales of multi-unit properties, but we will make sense of COPA in easily digestible terms.

Rest assured, there is also a great deal of misinformation circulating about rent and eviction rules, protected tenants, owner/relative move-in evictions, and buyouts. Daniel Bornstein will resolve these quandaries and discuss new timelines for serving requisite notices to commence unlawful detainer (eviction) actions - this is a big deal.

Many of you are also watching with trepidation an initiative that would impose rent control and "just cause" eviction policies statewide. You'll get a timely update on AB 1482, as well as a translation of the risks and impacts for those in our fraternity should the ill-conceived law come to pass.

The conversation will also be colored by Bay Property Group, a leading property management company dedicated to helping owners relax and enjoy their continuous rental income without the hassle of landlording.
